Thank you for choosing to stay at Barcaldine Caravan Park. Please read our terms and conditions, cancellation policy and privacy policy below.BOOKINGSBookings can be made online via www.barcaldinecaravanpark.com.au, by emailing [email protected] or calling on +61 4 3132 9329.
Your booking has been accepted for the number of guests and animals stated on your booking confirmation and any additional guests or pets may incur further charges and/or the requirement for additional accommodation/sites.
Bookings are subject to availability and applicable pricing at the time of booking, some conditions and/or exclusions may apply.
Any quote is an estimate of the price and the price will only be confirmed once a payment is made on the booking and you have received confirmation.
Any confirmed price is subject to change if a payment is not received by the date of arrival or there is a change in government charge, tax or levy. If any of your booking details are amended, such as dates of stay or numbers of guests or room type this may affect the pricing of your stay.
Any bookings made by agents or third parties (eg. booking.com) may be subject to separate terms and conditions and you are responsible for checking these.
We do not accept bookings from persons under 18 years old. All persons under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult, parent or guardian.PAYMENTFor all standard bookings, full payment is taken at the time of booking and these will not be confirmed until full payment has been received. Non confirmed bookings may be released on the day of arrival if no prior arrangement for payment has been made. Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, direct deposit or cash. Bookings in our cabins will be required to provide a credit card as security regardless of the method of payment.CLEANINGUpon entering the park, guests agree to leave their accommodation/site and any facilities used in a clean and tidy condition. If the accommodation/site is found to be excessively dirty or damaged, the guests accept they will be charged a cleaning fee of $50 per hour. All damages, breakages or losses to property of the park, are to be paid by the guest.GROUP BOOKINGSIf you are travelling in a group and wish to stay next to each other, please contact Barcaldine Caravan Park directly via email or phone to provide further details.ACCOMMODATION/SITE REQUESTSWe will do our best to accommodate requests for specific sites or cabins, however these are not guaranteed. We will endeavour to place guests onto sites that best suit their caravan, motorhome, campervan, camper trailer or tent for the duration of their stay.PETS
We are a pet friendly park and welcome well behaved pets. Pets are welcome to stay with you for free on our powered, unpowered and tent sites. There is an additional fee for pets staying at our cabins. If you are travelling with your pet, please let us know at the time of booking. Our pet rules are as follows:
• Pets must remain on the lead at all times
• You must clean up after your pet
• You must not leave your pet unattended at any time
• Pets are not allowed in the camp kitchen, office or amenities at any time.NOISE CURFEWTo ensure the enjoyment and comfort of all guests in the park, our camp kitchen closes at 9pm. While you are welcome to socialise at your site, we ask that you keep your conversations to a respectful volume and refrain from playing music after 9pm. We kindly ask that all park guests adhered to a ‘quiet’ period between 10pm and 7.30am. Any unacceptable or unruly behaviour, you may be asked to leave the park. If you do not leave, the police may be contacted.SMOKING POLICYAll shared facilities are non-smoking. Please be respectful and do not smoke near others. All our cabins are non-smoking, however you may smoke outside on the balcony, but please ensure the cabin door is closed so that the smoke does not travel into the room. Smoke detectors are fitted in all cabins.CHECK IN AND CHECK OUTCheck in time for sites is 12pm and for cabins is 2pm. Check out is 10am. If you would like an early check in or late check out, please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate your request. No refunds will be given should you decide to check out early.LATE ARRIVALSOur normal office hours are 9am – 6pm every day. If you are going to be arriving outside of these hours, please contact us so we can accommodate your needs.INSURANCEWe strongly recommend all guests hold an insurance policy covering both their vehicles and equipment as we take no responsibility for damages as a result of unusual weather events, fallen branches or other extraordinary events or circumstances beyond our control. In addition, it is advised that guests take out travel insurance whilst on holidays to cover personal injury, illness or unforeseen circumstances.BICYCLES & SCOOTERGuests may ride bicycles and scooters within the park however must do so in a manner that does not endanger themselves, other persons, or any property. Children must be supervised at all times. It is a requirement that all riders comply with the rules of the state that apply to road safety, wear helmets at all times and must not exceed 5km per hour. The riding of skateboards, rollerblades, in-line skates or any other ride on apparatus is not permitted in the park. When not in use bicycles and scooters must be stored neatly and must not be left to obstruct the roadways or pathways of the park so as to cause a trip hazard for other guests.BALL GAMESBat and ball games that may cause damage to persons or property are not permitted around caravan sites or near vans or vehicles. Please move into a larger area either inside or outside of the park. Please ask our friendly staff the best area to play ball games.

CANCELLATION POLICY

To ensure that we can fill our accommodation/sites, the following cancellation policy applies:
• More than 5 days prior to your arrival, no cancellation fee will be applied
• 4-5 days prior to your arrival, a fee equivalent to 50% of one night’s accommodation will be charged
• 2-3 days prior to your arrival, a fee equivalent to one night's accommodation will be charged
• 1 day prior to your arrival, a fee equivalent to two night's accommodation will be charged (unless booking is only for 1 night)
• On the day of your arrival, no refund will be applicable for the full stay.
Refunds will be processed via the method of payment used for the booking.
Refunds may take up to 30 days to be processed.
If there are extenuating circumstances in relation to your cancellation, please contact Barcaldine Caravan Park directly to discuss a change to this policy.
Any bookings made by agents or third parties (eg. booking.com) may be subject to a separate cancellation policy and you are responsible for checking this.CHANGE POLICYChanges to your booking dates with more than 24 hours’ notice will be without penalty.
Changes to your booking dates less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a penalty of the first night’s accommodation/site fee.

PRIVACY POLICY

Barcaldine Caravan Park is subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988 that sets standards for the handling of personal information. Our park has a commitment to privacy and the safeguarding of guests, visitors and staff personal information.
There is a mandatory requirement under Australian Law to collect some of your personal information in order to process your registration at our park. Any personal information provided by you to the park (eg. name, address, car registration and contact details), will be protected.
The park does not usually disclose your personal information unless there is a legal requirement to do so. The park may disclose personal information to the relevant authorities if it is reasonably believes that there is a threat to an individual’s life, health or safety, or public health or safety. If the park has reason to suspect that unlaw activity has been, is being or may be engaged in, personal information may be used or disclosed as a necessary part of any investigation and reporting to relevant persons or authorities.
Your personal information may be used by the park for marketing purposes to improve our services and provide you with the latest information about those services and any new related service or promotion.
If you do not wish to received information about our latest park promotions, the park on request will remove your name from mailing lists. You have the right to access any personal information that the park may hold about you, including a right of correction of your personal information.
